It’s rainin’ men!

Currently driving through Arizona on the I-40E, and we’re getting smashed on by the rain gods. We left Vegas this morning, and decided to re-route our trip into Albuquerque rather than staying in Phoenix for two days, because we have more people to meet in New Mexico. Fortunately for me, I’ve always like the name “albuquerque” but have never had the pleasure of going there… this will change in the next couple of days.
Vegas was cool, I mean it’s Vegas… late morning hours filled with gambling, abusing substances, and looking for recreational companionship. Me and John couldn’t bring ourselves to do either one of those simply because we were so exhausted from the previous week. It pains me to say this, but Vegas was simply a resting stop where we would gather up energy for the next leg of our trip. Can’t wait for TEXAS BABY! YEEEE!
Me and John have been getting along pretty well, crazy that we’re basically together 24/7 and haven’t rung each other’s necks yet…. but I don’t anticipate that happening until we get closer to the East Coast
We’re still trucking along, but still very far away from our final destination. Stay tuned.

Gambling, to be honest I would forget that myself, there more to life than gambling anyway. The bright side is you two are well outside of the home state of California, that makes you two way better compared to the people who abuse substances alone.
I don’t know what you two have plans for the future, I know one of the my future plans was to travel on the route 66 on a motorcycle.

Little do you realize you are traveling the reverse Grape of Wrath tour your ancestors have traveled. When you get an opportunity, call your favorite lady in Oklahoma and ask her about how much rain fell on her pickup in 1965.

@Big Daddy, I’m well aware about the chances and the decommissioning of Route 66, all I would care about was the view while traveling on the road that still exists. Anyway thanks for the advice.
Who did I kill to rescue the little sister? I can’t seem to remember!
