The lesson for the day: Do not share needles otherwise you will get AIDS
or so it seems. Me and John met with Dave Ellis at the San Francisco AIDS Foundation this afternoon, after a brisk walk through “The Tenderloin” of San Fran’. After our arrival, we were treated with delicious refreshments and shown to our room where we would essentially be contributing to the drug-using population of San Francisco by packaging disposable needles. Unfortunately, rdot and oysta do not condone illegal usage of drugs injected intravenously, but we do approve of helping to combat a disease that is spread heavily through urban populations through negligent use of unsanitary syringes… as well as taking a box of needles to the dome-piece.
After leaving the Foundation, had a sense of pride that we dedicated a couple hours of our day to doing something positive out here in San Francisco. Similarly, we are heading to Los Angeles tomorrow for a women’s charity event, we’ll keep you posted! Watch out for rdot and oysta doin’ it big in space suits!
